Ride at the start wearing your veteran or first responder hat
Pre-ride/helmet check in: On Friday evening or Saturday morning (30 minutes prior to your ride): Go to “Fire Velo vendor tent” located by Beer Garden to check in your helmet. Here you will receive a ticket with your name & number.
Ride start: After you cycle approximately 300 yards, trade your hat for your helmet at the “Fire Velo” tent. Hand the Fire Velo attendant your ticket and your helmet will be returned.
Rider finish: Once you have completed the ride, visit the “Fire Velo vendor tent” to retrieve your personal belongings.
Cyclists must wear a helmet to ride the Tour de Palm Springs Charity event!
