ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR THE 2012 RIDE WILL OPEN JULY 28, 2011.
For the 5 & 10 Mile Ride there is no late registration fee.
For On-Site Registration of the 25, 55, and 100 Mile Rides there is an $10 late registration fee that will be added -- so register early.
Route Descriptions are as follows:
• 5 mile route is flat and goes through Palm Springs.
• 10 mile route is mostly flat and goes through Palm Springs.
• 25 mile route is mostly flat and has a few rolling hills.
• 55 mile and 100 mile routes have a lot of rolling hills and gradual climbs but nothing steep.
Maps of each route will be viewable on the web site as soon as they are mapped out -- check back in October.
Wrist bands are mandatory to enter a SAG stop. The 100 mile route has 5 SAGs, the 55 mile route has 3 SAGs, the 25 mile route has 2 SAGs, and the 10 and 5 mile routes have 1 SAG. In addition to water and a fluid replacement drink, there will be a variety of sandwich makings, energy bars, gels, cookies, fruit, etc.
Yes, this is a street ride and helmets are required.
Bike support will be available at beginning of each ride and at each SAG. Ride support vehicles will be riding through each course throughout the day. All day there will be shuttles to go from each SAG back to the start of the event if and when needed.

Yes, three wheelers are allowed as long as they are manually peddled or is an official hand cycle.
Yes, you may ride with a properly attached bike cart. There is no fee for the a child not riding their own bicycle.
The average high is 70-80 degrees. The average low is 50-55 degrees The mornings can be a bit chilly. The ride will take place rain or shine. We do recommend plenty of hydration and sunscreen.
